DAWN: MAKING MYTHS [8]
"She was warned. She was given an explanation. Nevertheless she persisted" I can still hear those words echoing in the caves of Lockdown, near Pandemic. What a show off, this ventriloquist, Dawn (harbinger of new day) throwing her voice to bird song, whistles and twitterings.

Time and time again; the scares, the bullying, the trepidations would come up against her. "Regress into the shadows of night! Eat the moon! and there, stay!"

Yet, she had this streak of Ixora-ness in her genetic makeup, this staying power, this openness while others slept. Her persistence annoying to even the dreaded Covid19.

Monday WRites 122

[a google dot com image]

BELIEVE IN HIM
Be a good example
Ever speak His holy name
Live in the hope of His promise
Invite Him into your heart
Encourage others to praise
Verily verily He spoke
Each miracle to invoke

Instructing the way of life
No other could have lifted

His cross of Calvary
In Him is forgiveness and mercy
Messiah, anointed one of God

Monday WRites 121

[olive grove near Bethlehem from google dot com]

FAITH ACKNOWLEDGED
A tiny bit of faith abounds into a plenty
That great mass of a tree from a little seed
Began, was once just a reserve entity
Memory for future on going life

Storehouses contain a wealth of important
Items, sources of treasure indeed
Watch the busy bee and the hurry ant
Resourceful in their cause for results rife

The honey is made without being iffy
The drones never ponder what if or when
Without thought of bears, or giant’s fee
Fie foo fom; they do what they are made for

So bees and hurrying ants they build
Using innate ability, their ken
The hives and the ant hills willed
To a future, regardless of ill favor

There is that something within
Which, linked to the vast divine infinite
Will; makes things happen, in
Time, and according to right standard

Like the seed with its allotted germination
Is sprung out of timely respite
Ideas have their span of meditation
Then they grow into the tangible

Because of the inherent faith
That which is yet to materialize
Rises out of the labyrinth
And makes it way to surface

From the deep where in lies essence
Of everything found in every shape and size
On the inside is the vast nuance
The old, the new, the grace

Of renewing and expanding
Replenishing that which was created
For a specific purpose; demanding
Responsibility and obedience in return

Of faith’s reverent acknowledgment
And it minutest sum respected
Only rewards with contentment
Will ever the pursuer earn

YOUR PRESENCE LORD
Unquenchable fires,
There, i do not want to be;
In the protecting presence of
Your heavenly angels Lord lead me
Where ever i wander,
Loving Shepherd seek me;
And return me to that place,
Where You rather i'd be
Where so gathered,
By two and by three;
That i may not perish but,
The heavens may rejoice

Monday WRites 118

BEGGAR MAN AT THE ROADSIDE
A man of faith at,
The roadside sat,
A simple man, A beggar he;
Of another man heard he,
Called Jesus, an anointed one

God's only Son;
The beggar man, blind he was,
Bartimaeus son of Timaeus;

Jesus was passing along the road,
Where that beggar took up abode;
Summoning his faith he called to Him,
And, many tried to discourage him;
But, he called out louder and again,
For Jesus's attention, he must gain;

The beggar man,
That simple man,
Man of faith;

"Jesus, Lord, Son of David",
That was what he shouted;

And Jesus heard,
And Jesus answered,
That he be brought forward,
A meeting straightforward;

"What do you want of me"
"That I should see"
And by his faith thus stated
Was he a miracle awarded
He saw the road and followed

After Jesus
Bartimaeus
The beggar man
The simple man
Of faith

CLOSING IN
the walls are closing in, closing in, closing in
if love is a given, an age old given, then why, oh why
this noise increasing, to a din, a din, a din
i fear; with a holy fear, a holy fear, holy fear
while the walls, keep closing in, closing in, closing in
wisdom threads on quiet wearied feet, beautiful feet,
and i know, yes i know, only truth in this war will win,
a battle waged, eons, eons ago; the prize - of souls
for this be comforted, he died, for redeeming of sin
so i wait in faith, for that grace, to completely unfold
yet, still, the walls are closing in, closing in, closing in
