HUSHED TONES
Calm, cocks an ear.
"Shh", she reports
To tremble.

Tree, bird, and fish
Listen with eyes agape
And lips in quivering pout.

"Where is she now?
What is she doing?"

They all cower;
For they know
How mischievous
She can get,
They know her for
Her irate moodiness.

This is why they speak of her
In hushed tones,
Calling her name -
Storm.
