Dream Rescue - A Fold
Inbreath, what a handsome angel,
He flew into my plight, bringing
Just the right solution, the right gel,
Sweetening a tired night's dream;
I leave behind, a handsome angel,
Colours so intense are stressful,
One can fall into a pond pel mel,
Like the little adventurous Alice girl,
It's child play like Farmer In The Del;
O fantasy! whose reality are you
To craft such a handsome angel?

I enjoyed your fold that ends with a question, Gillena, the allusions to a children’s rhyme and a story, and the handsome angel ‘sweetening a tired night's dream’ – I could do with one too.

Gillena, I love when beautiful angels visit in dreamland, and I wonder also, where they come from.

There’s a song I love with the lyrics “like dreaming of angels / and leaving without them”. Your poem reminded me of that, Gillena. Both a beautiful and bittersweet dream.
