QUADRILLE CLOSED
Sign on the door says 'Closed,'
Maybe, too early would have been better.
People need to wear face masks,
Is this a bar? Shouldn't they be open though?
The early bird catches the fattest worm, but
Doors in this pandemic have no worm quality.

I'm really not feeling any loss from places being closed. I think it's best as long as we have access to the necessities at this time. But I do miss seeing my family the most who are just several miles down the highway from me but so far away... Love your beautiful flower postings. That does give me lift. Gayle ~
ReplyDeleteReally Rose, what i miss is the freedom.
DeleteIn my retirement i am not a traveller except of words.
I stay indoors as i do now, but i would go to the supermarket. I would go to church. I would go mall shopping. I would go to the library. I am one of those who still like holding a book and turning pages by hand
I miss the freedom and spontaneoity of getting out the house, and putting on makeup not face masks.
And the precious few visits from my granddaughter now 7
Stay safe

Gillena - a lovely mosaic. It would be easy to be angry now, along with many other emotions. But we must remember that God Loves Us. Holy Week is the perfect time to focus on this. Thanks for joining Mosaic Monday, and Happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteThank you Angie. Happy you dropped by. Don't be angry is what the good sense in my head tells me, but frustrated is the overriding feeling
