[AI generated image]

 Next sunrise, there he was

Bending through the morning wafts

Of breezes scullying through

Fronds of banana and papaya

Plants stationed to his garden

Over seconds he would speak

We meet again like new clouds

Mapping an unburdened sky

No coincidence of mine more like

A universe hurl of broken planets

Then suddenly like a mountain sweet

As petrichor after the rain

He says in the most tender way

Let's be friends

I felt like a rocket launched

SPRING IS FICKLE
The colour of bird song is silver
Like morning light clambering over
Huge monuments of lukewarm cloud
In a sky museum unseemingly loud
Yet all the raindrops mauve down
From this ethereal exhibition to drown
Sorrows of earthly disappointment
A greening  mountain  appointment
Then flowers with butterfly friezes
Send nasal wonderings to sneezes
Should Springtime arrive on time

the sky is full of clouds today

at the fair i watch the stick fluff out
into pink puffy cotton candy delights

when i tasted morning
the air was still except for
its report of birdsongs
