WISHES
On Undiscovered planetoid
Where Retirement dwells
With her friends, Solitude and Wisdom
There sits a treasure
Much like the box of dear old Pandora
Its locks are rusty
Its hinges will creak, surely if one dares
To open it without a wish
I wish for length of day
Syllables to swirl in light of awe
Health to manage newness
In fast-paced age of being.
