There at the very edge of longing

A glass of water pursued her lips

Ruby like bunched grapes

From a compote hanging

What is it to quench perseverance

Purposed of passion's desire

It is but a glass of water

In the middle of reverence

  8. Water is all important for our lives. Towards the end I was reminded of the bottle of water that I brought back with me from the Jordan river. I call it my holy water.
