The sun that sparked so hot so bright is like

A silver penny never worth the fight

For what of clouds holding  a storm alike

Can heaven prevent a wayward glance now

Each day dazzles so hot so bright is like

Inferno walking the streets scant and bare

Timid ones are hidden away unlike

Brash revelers of heat and scorching sun

Is this a good time to go on a hike

If an arm can hide under cotton sleeve

Then sun can dance so hot so bright is like

  4. Gillena, it never gets hot like an inferno here in Michigan. It would be nice once in awhile! I like knowing there are remedies to stay cool within the inferno.

  11. I have almost never felt such heat (except when I lived in the desert), you have to learn how to manage, love how you said it.
