Hello December glad you are here with us, AND we are in the third week of Advent
You've heard about the Monday Blues well this is Monday WRites (musing on the definition here of rite, as any customary observance for eg the rite of afternoon tea).
Welcome to Monday WRites # 329: A Happy Monday to all. Be Safe.
AND
to write the '44 word poem' using any form of the word tinsel
THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS LORE
Adorned the Christmas tree
Tinseled and sparkly
Awaits the oohs and aaws
A Christmas morning cause
Adorned the Christmas tree
Decked so magically she
Is ready for the night before
The eve like days of yore
To dance for Santa
A jolly little rhumba

Chapter 1. Cinnanmon Sticks
tinsel and baubles -
the sound of paper tearing
between giggles
And so it is, that rainy morning, the spidery Anansi, awakes to eight arms full of his two anansi children, tugging at him from every direction; pleading with him to come downstairs, to open a gift under the Christmas tree.[excerpt from Anansi An Unusual Experience by Gillena Cox]
