You've heard about the Monday Blues well this is Monday WRites (musing on the definition here of rite, as any customary observance for eg the rite of afternoon tea).
Welcome to Monday WRites # 316: A Happy Monday to all. Be Safe.
AND
Prompt to use any form of "Linger" in a 44-word poem
QUADRILLE - LIGHT
Before the dawn of creation
I lingered
Hidden in the thought of God
Then he spoke
And i knew
That time had come
So i appeared
As he had called
Me
Light
Then shone
For all to see
Sun and moon
And
Every star

I love me some metaphysics in the afternoon. Your poem is so upbeat, it reminds me the each us can, if we wish, rise above the darkness and chaos of these plague days; thanks.
