Monday WRites 210

LIKE A DOLL'S HOUSE
The old house stands for years as good old houses do. Residents come and go. Sometimes whole families. They putter and paint. But have the good sense to keep that doll's house look.

Seems the Rainy Season has really started. Its a rainy Monday today, raining since early dawn, nonstop. As a child when i was growin up Corpus Christi which is this Thursday used to be the marker for the start of the Rainy Season for those folks who didnt look to the Met Office.
You've heard about the Monday Blues ❧✿❧ well this is Monday WRites (musing on the definition here of rite, as any customary observance or practice eg the rite of afternoon tea). A Happy Monday to all

  5. We had sprinkles for half an hour last night. That's the only rain since the beginning of the month. It's going to be a dry hot summer. It scares me with possible fires on the horizon. - Margy

  7. Gillena - I know sometimes rain can be inconvenient, especially when it happens every day, but it is so important to our environment that I can put up with it and even enjoy it! Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday!

  8. I love those good old houses, Gillena. I live in an old cottage myself but I always wanted to live in a wooden boarded house that you have to paint every year to keep fresh. Great use of the prompt word!

  9. So many houses actually become like persons... I can swear that some of them are giggling when we look away.
