Monday WRites 195

[For today's mosaic i used random signs i captured with my cell phone during the pre Carnival days]
HOW IT STARTS
long before
the dawn birds
Jouvert bands

even though
the mud sticks
for a while

long after
Carnival
the fun lasts

#JOUVERT is a beginning event and smearing body and clothes with mud is a tradition. Nowadays paints are also used. It starts as early as 2:30 at early dawn on the Monday of Carnival, the start of the adult Carnival street parades.
