Monday WRites 194

WHEN THE CHILDREN PARADE
Here comes morning carrying her jug of sunlight
Here comes the twittering birds oh such a delight
The songs they sing of beauty and of colour
The tales they tell each one to the other

A rainbow in the sky adds her smile
Clouds are cousins their hugs span for miles
Something's in the preparation pot
Something's in the brewing oh so hot

Stripes of a zebra stamped black and white
And a lion may decide to be a kite
All this is possible fun is here too
And trucks full of music are there too

Here comes the Sunday of Carnival
Happily toting its boys and gals

  6. Gillena - you have such a way with words - "morning carrying her jug of sunlight" and "clouds are cousins their hugs span for miles" both struck me! And the pictures of the children are delightful. I am amazed at some of the elaborate structures that they are carrying! Thanks for linking to Mosaic Monday, and have a wonderful week!
