Posey
Yellow ixoras you stay open,
Once bloomed, through day
And through night;
Sleepless under Caribbean skies,
In your sweet umbrella forms,
Put you in a posey,
What would you represent?
Loveliness, continuity, happiness,
hopeful, joy, alluring
Ay yes,
I know, you would be enduring.

Love this.....I did find it very intersting to read about the "meaning" of various kinds of flowers. I also find it intersting that certain flowers are more popular and indeed, sometimes can only be found, in some countries/cultures.

Lovingnes can't be beat.
ReplyDeletep.s. My Trinidadian son-in-law died with the early COVID and heart troubles. My daughter has moved to Ecuador and in October she will have her permanent Ecuador visa. I had COVID two times, once aboard a ship. Now I can't taste or smell or remember things good.
Sorry to hear this Jim.
