Did he ever say it?

I love you i mean,

Of course he did!

Is the sky blue?

Well not always.

So he may have loved me, somewhat

Is delrium a mystery of male makeup?

Or maybe sometime,

Or even mistakenly,

Or he might have thought he did.

Isn't the "i do" factor

A happily ever after story line?

So then why does the griot

Stumble and mumble at

Where is he?

Where is she?

Might "happily ever after stories"

Do have a time frame, or

Could it be, it contained the word

Together?

Which got lost in time.

You know,

Words and phrases

Can be quite fickle,

That way.

  4. I love how you took this quotation and gave it new wings in your poem, Gillena, which really takes off in a gentle exploration of love’s journey. I was touched by the thought that the word together got lost in time.
