Spooling Hope, a Fold poem
And where or when (things past)
Regurgurate, let them be pleasant
Memories of days gone fast,
And furious in a dance of joy;
Because where or when (things past)
Does not conform to forbidden
Or debarred, lingered in last
Kisses, or wasted lovers trysts,
Time wasted alas!
Should not thread a spool of
Hope where or when (things past)

  1. Nice philosophical foray, Gillena. We think we waste time, but maybe things need to unfold just the way they do...

  10. Love where this ekphrastic took you, Gillena, and your mastery of the form. Those last two lines are the perfect conclusion in thought and image. 💖
