 First Kiss - a quadrille

Hiccups respond to 

Evening's cool fragrant sway of trees,

After spell of lips first meet,

How we desired of love unspoken 

In tongues silent, tasting, exploring.

Then did gate of lips part to allow

one breath held, shared by two.

Alluring surprising first kiss.

    I’m impressed that so many dVerse poets remember their first kisses and have shared them with us, and I love how you have captured yours in a quadrille, Gillena. The evening setting is perfect and I love the phrase ‘After spell of lips first meet’.
