First date and she was talking about The Potato Eaters. Try the soup Henry nudged. She hesitated. Soup was not a dish she relished. She was a rice and peas taste. She loved pelau and she loved fried chicken.
The soup of the day was pumpkin. Pumpkin was a vegetable she liked. Or was it a fruit. Anyway a craftily sculped Jack o Lantern was also to her a must in October. She had all her carving tools stashed away in the cupboard near the back of garage

This was wonderful Gillena. In the brisk chill of winter here in the Pac-NW, pumpkin soup is a hit in this household — as well as cream of celery, cream of asparagus, tomato, pea, potato, onion, cream of broccoli, black bean, hot&sour, chicken&dumpling, chicken poppy cock, lentil, tex-mex chili, and cheddar cheese soups. This house runs on soup in the winter my friend. ๐✌๐ผ❤️๐

Sounds good, Gillena. I made a crazy pumpkin, squash and yellow split pea soup yesterday. It turned out really well, like yours I bet๐. Good one.
