Welcome to Monday WRites # 338
As February bids us goodbye, it leaves a world saddened by the atrocious action of war by Putin towards the Ukraine.
You've heard about the Monday Blues ❧✿❧well this is Monday WRites (musing on the definition here of rite, as any customary observance for eg the rite of afternoon tea).

There is a mountain within a range of mountains here in sunny Trinidad and Tobago. the breezes can get quite chilly but no snow forms. The mountain named for Saint Benedict where the monks live. This one draws many a worshipper to quiet meditation. To purchase honey and relics. To offer confessions and acts of penitence. To eat of the divine in holy masses. Even in chilly breezes love warms this mountain.
is there a mountain
that will offer sunflowers
or prayers for Kyiv
We need to offere prayers and gifts for Kiev and Ukraine...

Oh Gillena this is beautiful writing. Sunflowers are one of the symbols of Ukraine, as you know I think!...and in the cold breeze there is much warmth, yes...
