You've heard about the Monday Blues well this is Monday WRites (musing on the definition here of rite, as any customary observance for eg the rite of afternoon tea).

Welcome to Monday WRites # 317: A Happy Monday to all. Be Safe.

The page is white. The page is lined. The page is made for writing on. Pencil, pen, markers will do.
Oh! Did i mention the page is lined. Guess i did. Who am i kidding. I have nothing going on up in my head. So the page is white with lines.
I should write something. Or maybe not today. Maybe tomorrow. When the moon wanes in the morning sky. Not a bad start to something.
What will it be? That nice new clear see through ball point. Blue ink. I remember specifically asking for blue ink. Oh well there's always tomorrow when a poem rears its beautiful head.

I like your stream of consciousness demonstrating the frustration of writer's block. I hope the ant makes it and gives a message to the Muse.

A nice mosaic made up of lovely pastel colors and geometric patterns. After the monologue, the ant haiku sounds more hopeful for creation. Good job!
