HOPE AND RENEWAL
This poem is a tree
This poem is a new day
This poem is a gift

We hide Easter eggs, and then go about seeking.
The game goes thus, no peeking while hiding.
Sometimes a clue is given t-r-e-e.
This poem is a tree.

We remember three nails, we remember one tree.
We remember to add a savior;
Redemption, forgiveness, on dying breath,
This poem is a new day.

We love Easter for chocolate bunnies,
Wildflowers of varied colours,
Covering meadow and cracked pavements,
This poem is a gift.

Love alone clothes the Spring;
Heralded by Almond blossoms,
In renewal charity and hope.

This poem is a tree
This poem is a new day
This poem is a gift

  12. Certainly crucifying Jesus on a tree produced the blossom of Christianity to spread accross the world for us all.
