    Love your account of your turtle! Friends have a tortoise that has lived in their garden for 15 years. I love to visit with him.

    The good thing with a tortoise is that they might live as long as we do... I cannot deal with pets dying on me.

    Nice turtle, Gillena. I seem to remember painted turtles in my childhood reading but NEVER as a teen or older. You might have read of them? Google might know.

      The turtle is my granddaughter's pet and he's not painted.
      The image at the start of the post was filtered using picsart and my text added to present to you visitors a lovely illustrated Cherita Poem.
