Monday WRites 121

[olive grove near Bethlehem from google dot com]

FAITH ACKNOWLEDGED
A tiny bit of faith abounds into a plenty
That great mass of a tree from a little seed
Began, was once just a reserve entity
Memory for future on going life

Storehouses contain a wealth of important
Items, sources of treasure indeed
Watch the busy bee and the hurry ant
Resourceful in their cause for results rife

The honey is made without being iffy
The drones never ponder what if or when
Without thought of bears, or giant’s fee
Fie foo fom; they do what they are made for

So bees and hurrying ants they build
Using innate ability, their ken
The hives and the ant hills willed
To a future, regardless of ill favor

There is that something within
Which, linked to the vast divine infinite
Will; makes things happen, in
Time, and according to right standard

Like the seed with its allotted germination
Is sprung out of timely respite
Ideas have their span of meditation
Then they grow into the tangible

Because of the inherent faith
That which is yet to materialize
Rises out of the labyrinth
And makes it way to surface

From the deep where in lies essence
Of everything found in every shape and size
On the inside is the vast nuance
The old, the new, the grace

Of renewing and expanding
Replenishing that which was created
For a specific purpose; demanding
Responsibility and obedience in return

Of faith’s reverent acknowledgment
And it minutest sum respected
Only rewards with contentment
Will ever the pursuer earn

  5. Thank you, Gillena, I needed this today. We've been working at our church all last week and now and will be for???(Houston had 51 inces of rain from Harvey, many, many firced out of their homes.) Some are handing out food, clothing, cleaning, etc. Others are cleaning houses which is pulling sheetrock, insulatiom, and carpeting out; then getting pockets of waterrorism vacuumed out and drying. I think they also dissenter. We are helping manage a prayer team of 27.
You reminded me of Paul's words in Hebrews 11: Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. King James Bible Now faith is the substance of things ...
    Much Love, Jim <3 :)

  6. To me faith is something to hold on to... it might help you a bit... like a compass when you're lost.

  11. Of faith’s reverent acknowledgment
    And it minutest sum respected

Of this contention it is so true, gillena! Minor or seemingly small yet given its due respect!

  12. Yes... we are being overrun by ants around here but I very much worry about the bees and their ability to continue to do their crucial jobs. This is a lovely poem, Gillena :)
