SPICY SORTS
Sometimes, tears are just that, salty reminders.
Like onion rings on chopping boards;
Concentric multi-layered.
Then there are sneezes, when black pepper,
Sprinkles into loneliness, and no one's about
To say gesundheit.
Longing recalls warmly, nutmeg, grated
Into sticky dough, for coconut sweet bread

  5. Wonderful! I especially like the sneezes from black pepper. At my house, whenever I sneeze after adding black pepper to a dish, I say, "That's it! I'm never cooking with pepper again." Of course, I do, because it's such a delicious spice.
