In the silence and in the din
Listen
When the amber of choices caution
And the red stumps an action
Know that voices are ever speaking
Know that guidance is always seeking
Audible
Perceivable
Paint this day in the colour win
Respect a good year; yes, Listen

True that we should listen in both the silence and the din. Sometimes in silence there is more to hear than we know. In the silence perhaps we can find the guidance we are seeking?
ReplyDeleteLove it, it takes that special moment to stop and just take in the voices and sounds. Happy new year

I like the imagery that you have painted here. You left it open enough for us readers to interpret whatever we liked. I also enjoy the connection of word choice that you've used that relates to painting (red, amber, din), it helped me picture a bonfire.
ReplyDeleteI love you use of color...especially amber choices. Great write, Gilena. :)

Many don't listen. That itself can cause tension wrought with impending adverse feelings. Many take the stand to make lots of noise to be heard but not forgetting it creates bad impressions. It will lead to the opposite effect.Great thoughts Gillena!
