Tears are Rain
Been crying for such a long time
The rain feels so normal
Been rained on for such a long time
The rain-soaked hat i wear failed
It cannot do its job in this haunting
It cannot stop the rain from raining
Getting my thoughts wet wet soaked
Eyes downward followed raindrops
Raindrops from my hat to my path
Its all so strange being wet
Feeling cold in any weather rain
Yet not understanding why
Why does it have to be raining
It feels like all the time everywhere
It feels like unceasing neverending
It feels like torture, torment
Why should the rain be falling
Pools with rainbow form behind me
I cannot look back or else
The rain will never cease
But looking forward walking ahead
There is hope of a ceasing
A change from the haunting season
A smile to emerge
Lighting up the day
Ah but these showers
This downward pitter patter
A sound nevermore nevermore to stop
A strumming a rhythm
Song of the heart piercing
A weathered soul
