MAKING MYTHS [8] LET GO
Anxious. For night,
Angry is its might
October demons capture Wind
Twisting her so
She pull away
And in so doing
Oops! roofs are ripped away
Let go you demons
Let go of Wind
That she may finds butterflies
To scallop and sway
Oh but jealous of
Tonight's supermoon
The October demons
Make faces at the sun
Torturing Wind to daytime havock

Gillena, I love that second stanza especially, rhetorically that direct address works so well, rebuking the "demons that capture the wind." I also liked your unique use of "scallop," and the bewitching quality of the normally gentle wind with butterflies. It must be the nerve-wracking hurricane season. I hope you and yours weather it alright. 🙏🏽💖
