Would i have owned, the wisdom of maturity “I would have learnt to love black days like bright ones.”

But no, my childish tantrums, prevented me from hearing the thunder and loving it.  Seeing the lightning and being awed by the spontaneous brightness of a dull sky.

This is how beyrayal, fools the unassumming, the naive, the young and unspoilt.

  1. Oh dear, Gillena, I am familiar with childish tantrums from my two-year-old grandson. What a shame to miss a good storm!

  3. Gillena, happy to see you at dVerse again! I was on break for a couple of months, and when I came back you weren't there. This is a great story and I love you likening betrayal to a storm that builds and a surprise if you aren't paying attention to the signs.
