The morning drifts into
Three phases of awakening
Trees reappear for me and you
Though sun its rays are sharing
Here is something remaining
Happliy of the night
Heartfelt moon lingering
Holding on with all her might
Enough with tales of sky deeds
Every morning is new
Even bringing fresh those weeds
Ever hardy never few
Now all that matters is gratitude
No one ever is without
Nothing more true than atitude
Nourishing soul's no doubt

Well done, Gillena, for smashing a tricky form, and for such a delightful morning poem, which I am reading this morning! I especially love the ‘heartfelt moon lingering / holding on with all her might’, and the weeds ‘ever hardy never few’.
