[ coconut sweetbread Trini style from Google]

 Delish

She cut a slice of

The warm sweetbread,

The butter melted quickly

Into the aroma of the slice .

She bit happily into her treat,

Hmm, her nose actually quivered,

A hint of nutmeg,

Her favourite spice,

What' s not to love

About this afternoon's snack?

  2. I wondered if anyone would write about a hint of taste or aroma and you covered both bases. Making me hungry with that picture and poem!

  3. Deliciously done. Nutmeg is an under-rated spice. :)

  7. A hint of spice is a tease, but better than overdoing it. I smiled at the quivering nose, Gillena. I haven’t had breakfast yet, so the butter melting quickly on the warm sweetbread made my tummy rumble!
