The Situation
When their ship left harbour,
Those sailors were already lifted,
Voices echoed in risque shanties
Out there on seas unending
Rough wind and waves befriend
Birds may squark, but to them
Was not music enough.
Anchor lifted to sounds of men
Tied by situation.

I love the way sailors always lifted their spirits with song. May we learn from them. Love this.

The sounds of men can lift others stuck in the sea. Music can certainly do that.

Song in an situation, at sea, in the kitchen, marching, can lift the spirits and make the task seem easier, more enjoyable, or at least, palatable.
