New Clothes
When sentinel poui changes her clothing
From all green to an all pink thing
Know that sovereign Easter is near
Our Caribbean nuance of Spring
With silver smiles of resurrection
Of renewal therefore sing
Pink poui has changed her garb
And that's a wonderful thing

Spring on the island!! I too had to look up with the poui. In our climate we might replace it with the red bud tree, it is first to bloom in spring here.
