CONTAGION - A FOLD
The new one comes in bold strides of masks,
Laughing behind sneezers and coughs,
Wearing her name tag - contagion, tsk tsk
Without the least bit of apprehension,
The alien comes in bold strides of masks,
Her abhorrence of party loving earthlings,
Serious issue to blue jewel planet, a task;
The enormous size of her entire sphere,
Width and breath of her sultry masque,
Pandemonium her sibling, clutches the globe
Alas! she sauntered in, bold strides of masks.

  1. Nicely Fold-ed! You are sadly right about Pandemonium being her sibling – making matters worse.

  3. It seems that all of Chaos's less divisible kin are showing up uninvited these days. Sigh.

  5. I wonder whether humans carelessness has caused the problems we face today or is it just the cyclic thing that happens on Earth with plagues, measles, flu, etc., etc., being natures way to avoid over population? Luckily humans are resorceful and determined to eradicate the problem quickly.

  7. What if it is the alien itself that is the source? A wonderful write-up.

  9. I love: "The alien comes in bold strides of masks. . . " This is the stranger in a strange land, for sure, and she brings her relatives. Sigh. I fear no barrier will keep out such a contagion.

  10. Pandemonium is certainly throwing quite a party. I suspect it won't be done partying any time soon.

  11. This is incredibly powerful, Gillena. I agree Pandemonium is a close cousin of Contagion who is unfortunately active these days.
