AURORA BOREALIS
With sensual mouthful of syllables
A winter Icelandic night features cold stars
Spewed forth in blue wash of wonder
Excitement and awe points to Aurora
Goddess in her celestial trauma
Speaking barely audible colours to yoemen
Bundled like worshippers in sacred shrine.

  6. With sensual mouthful of syllables

yes, it is a sensual mouthful of syllables, defining the odds of us being able to wrap ourselves and minds around them/her/it - this incredible cosmic dance, the auroras -

    wonderful piece Gillena

  7. It does draw an audience, Gillena. We in the Southern part of the Northern Hemisphere don't get to see these unless we travel. We saw them in Alaska but weren't playing in Iceland when we were there. Our tour leader woke us up in the middle of the night to tell us the lights were playing. It was a very spectacular sight.

  8. I have seen it a few times... but not too spectacular... alas you have to go North in the depth of winter.
