GOLDEN TRANSITIONS
When golden clouds call, come
And you stand transfixed to some;

Glorious, inexplicable, ordinary
Eventide drama of a sky, so very

Coquettish in exiting, it leaves
A taste of yearning, and cleaves

To palate of somber silhouettes,
Waiting to embrace sleep pirouettes,

Maybe long after it has vanished,
A blend of wine to lips, a tryst

Instead, seductive souls do savour,
Insomniac sheep, naught to favour.

  3. Love the drama in this -- and the dreamy quality -- a wakeful dream? Sensual and lovely, like your picture full of light. One of my favorites of yours, I think. Thanks for sharing Gillena.

  4. The video reminds me of a slow dance at the end of a wedding when most of the guests have gone and just a few stragglers remain.

    I love the mood you have created in your poem...one of light and possibility.

  5. Appeals to the senses of peace within. Sheep are normally calm unless excited. Those Insomniac sheep will become restless, calm no more without special favors being granted.
