 Banished

From the earth was fashioned,

From the likeness of God, the man;

And the breath of life,

Breathed into him.

From Adam's rib,

Was fashioned,

A helpmate called the woman;

And the breath of life,

Breathed into her.

The garden, their paradise given

There to live in,

To have of fruit with exception.

But the two they fell,

Into a trap laid well,

By the wiley wiley deceiver;

Clever clever he;

Approached the woman,

Knowing she, was held high

In esteem by her man;

With skillful debate

Was she baited, she ate;

Then she to the man to sate

Tasted of the fruit forbidden,

From their eyes, veiled

Innocence slipped;

Exposing to them at the hip,

Their loins in full nakedness,

Which they taught to cover

With leaves.

From the Lord God ever,

There is no hiding;

He knew of their deeds.

 His compassion meted them,

Garments made of skins;

His wrath, banishment

With statuses new defined;

So then the woman,

By Adam, was named Eve;

Fitting her function given

By The Lord God; child bearer.

Banished then, and sent ,

Out from their garden home;

They went;

Wanderers for a new home.

Then Adam slept with his wife

Eve; child bearer.

 Next sunrise, there he was

Bending through the morning wafts

Of breezes scullying through

Fronds of banana and papaya

Plants stationed to his garden

Over seconds he would speak

We meet again like new clouds

Mapping an unburdened sky

No coincidence of mine more like

A universe hurl of broken planets

Then suddenly like a mountain sweet

As petrichor after the rain

He says in the most tender way

Let's be friends

I felt like a rocket launched

Chicken, having not met a giant before
was in awe
She didn't understand what was standing before her

A holy fear welled up inside her
Look at his size
Look at his socks
Look at his horns
No no no
He is not to be trusted
Not a feather on his body only fur
He is not to be trusted

Here she was feeling broken
Here was chicken all alone
Having been left behind
By those who should have cared
Here was chicken unarmed
In the face of a giant
Not a rifle
Not a stick
Not a dagger

Chicken was left to her inner source
Her faith
Her hope
Her tears
She quickly realized
She had to survive in the face of this giant

She honed into her inner source
And there she found ways
And survive she did

 Consider Icarus

Humility will always steer you right

Excessive pride is expensive

Even at the cost of life

Consider Icarus warned

Consider Icarus in excessive mode

Consider Icarus wings melted to death

Overwhelmed he flew too high

Overwhelmed he got too close to the sun

Consider Icarus warned

Consider Icarus in excessive mode

Humility will always steer you right

 This Apple

Honestly, if i eat this apple,

My love will appear right here,

In front of me;

Like syrup of maple,

Our kisses can span the rigors of time,

Like clouds under azure sky

Like ripples over ocean skin

Live Anthony and Cleopatra

Honestly! Honestly!

Picasso On The Beach
Pablo and Olga k- i -s -s- i -n -g
On the sandy beach
They are not even seeing
The child within reach

Sun up and sun hot
Driftwood and care
These adults augnt not
To act without fear

When then the boy asks
If they were playing tag
They chose somehow to mask
The kiss with a zig and a zag

[Sunrise by Monet from Google]
And The Sunrise Was Good
Each sunrise magic of sky
Unfolds hope in newness
Licsence to create what
Yesterday never had even
If routine set the pace of
Dark night passed on

Sunrise is expected and mundane
Yet awesome in all its ways
The calling out again and again
