An Autumn Fold

What have  i heard of Autumn?

Leaves fall, they bare the trees.

What is this Season's anthem?

 Colours! brown, orange, red, and

Yellows too;  i 've heard of Autumn.

Some poets mourn, some celebrate;

Meeker morns are a humdrum,

But the berry’s cheek is plumper,

Don't lose hope, or hit rock bottom,

Though now the rose is out of town,

Ah, the sentiments i've heard of Autumn

NOTE
Lines 7, 8, and 10 contain words from Emily Dickinson “The morns are meeker than they were, The nuts are getting brown; The berry’s cheek is plumper, The rose is out of town.”
