Five Ways From Home

Red ixoras garland the front gate

Azure points a silent thumb there

Without wingspan of chicken hawks

Morning progresses to noon

A hot day in paradise

Seeking vittals go east

At the main road meditate

School days, work days, and errands

Traffic streams all day long with

Polite sunshine no honking horns

A westward argument wins

More narratives of high rise

Living spaces stepping up to sky

In tiny spaces of ascensions

Where modern living is easy

A magnetic pull secures

Opposites attract

The market places

Where lettuce and tomatoes

Absorb  disciplined spaces

Sunrise escapades with

Early morning bird whistles

And cloud fancies

Prophecy of  actions casual

To everyday necessities
