WARM WISHES
A post card of warm wishes:
When wintery winds whirl,
Twirling wan lips to fresco,
Echo of words relinquish their repeat,
Sleep, under blankets of snow ensue;
Few so few, are the leaves of green,
Keen though are firs and pine which seek,
Peaking over vast wastelands of snow;
Grow then, in the warm embers of hearth,
Birth of Springtime as hope to treasure,
Measure of nature is a well planned oath
