We are wearing the mask, in those places where the virus poses a threat to our humanity. Our voices may sound muffled at first, however our ears learn again to listen, more attentively.
So now we hear every word fresh and new, clear and sounded.
Listen we must; to cautions of distancing, sanitizing, hand washing, isolating. The word 'we' holds deeper meaning: within distance of oceans and horizons, no longer constraining boundaries as of before.
The consciousness of a higher power appeals to us all
