Humans hiding why should we care?
Something's amiss way over there
In lockdown ?
All of the doors shut and bolted?
And the window views assorted?
A lockbox!
Is that how the blue planet is?
Measuring distances gee whiz!
Sure lockout!
They are dealing with health issues?
Is there a shortage of tissues?
A locksmith?
Why would they be in need of him
When scientist have made vaccines?
Their lockset.

Challenged to write A Compound Word Verse. Poetry form invented by Margaret R. Smith that consists of five 3-line stanzas, for a total of 15 lines. The last line of each stanza ends in a compound word and these compound words share a common stem word which is taken from the title.
