WITH A CUP OF TEA
This poem is a novella
This poem is fiction
This poem is an umbrella
Let me say upfront, this will be short.
Sweet is relative to the reader's tongue.
Didn't get it, read and read again.
This poem is a novella.
Sometimes when i climb Mount Everest,
And look over vast expanse of syllables,
The longing for chapters gallops in.
This poem is fiction.
Being unprepared for the rain,
Is no excuse; thunder rumbles,
God has even fashioned clouds.
This poem is an umbrella.
This poem wishes to speak prose,
Longs to tell a sweet little story,
And chants - settle in with a cup of tea.
