Always it is about the wider expanse
Today i am dawn greying into azure
Then soon i am bird song winging
My way into noon shadows
Cooling down to twilight fantasies
Now i call myself silhouettes
No longer am i shadow
But was i ever greying, winging, cooling.
Am i ever bird song at dawn
Golden at twilight
Is there ever measure to the wider expanse
Where are yesterday's cumulus puffs
Where are the thick dark clouds hiding
A shy moon at night
Where are those morphing clouds
Following that lonely wanderer
Am i even transience
Worthy of a cloud-self
