CONTEMPLATING COLOUR AND VIBE
The mighty sun finds us lost in the vibrancy of our Caribbean hues. Talking a walk in the hot sun without a hat or umbrella is common place. People are accustomed to these hot temperatures, we were born into it. Though there is much talk lately of Dry Seasons hotter and drier than back then, those day of our childhood.
Even more so of course on Days of The Carnival parades though the streets on Monday and Tuesday when the road belongs to the bands of costumed revelers, when colour finds itself imbued in souls celebrating this same sun.
It is easy to find oneself steeped in the rhythm of the day, as care and stress is lost to the music and the vibe. There art is flowing its liquid visceral vibe through the streets. Quite unlike the walls of the somber gallery where we can stand and gape.
