AUTUMN LEAVES
Where is everyone?
Leaves rest
On the park bench
To pattern loneliness

Leaves rest
Colours
Infuse the Autumn park
Chilled wayfarers move on

On the park bench
a still life
talent of the wind
With masterful strokes

To pattern loneliness
Filling the park
With riotous surreal warmth
Of fallen reds oranges browns

FORGED FROM THE LOVE OF LIBERTY
Forged a nation sturdy
From the smithy, swelter of dense purpose
The love of country to propel us always
Of liberty we sing, we dance, we worship

From the smithy, swelter of dense purpose,
Mountains peaked in tridium rise
Against strong winds there to fortress
Regaled are we in this land of trinity

The love of country to propel us always
Kindness in word and deed will retain us
On a path of betterment and continuity
Leaving behind a legacy of wise stewardship

Of liberty we sing, we dance, we worship
Bird songs to serenade in azure skies
Oceans resonate in conch shells, as we blow
Breath of each day back to our source in prayer

TOMORROW
Escorted on the wings of gift giving
Another day with taste of promise
With the sketch of every possibility
Breaking through a curtain of shadows

Another day with taste of promise
The forever i love yous dwell in this coocoon
A butterfly can have spotted wings silken
If not just to taste the nectar of pollen

With the sketch of every possibility
Bees and ladybugs crawl and bumble
For such as those destined will allow
The day to absorb them in its colours

Breaking through a curtain of shadows
To draw the reflection of clouds over water
That shimmers or ripples but never stands
Still for such is the process of tomorrow

PONDERING WAVES
Ever sat at the seashore pondering waves?
Some arrive in a dragon's mighty splash
Some hunch and whimper like tired slaves
Whether calm or fury an ocean to unlash

Some arrive in a dragon's mighty splash
Sunshine beats down on near nude backs
Of the young, not so young, and the brash
Wet toes trudging sand to nibble on snacks

Some hunch and whimper like tired slaves
Cradling knees in the hot barefooted sand
Perhaps a pebble to find, treasure to crave
Bird songs like praises to a glorious land

Whether calm or fury an ocean to unlash
Pearls from below rise in undulations
Watery kingdoms at the ocean floor stash
Such wealth of heaven safe from intrusions

OF BEAUTY
Speak to me of beauty i say
To my muse sitting atop the mountain peak
She and i sip lemon drops that slide down
From the throne of heaven

To my muse sitting atop the mountain peak
I have asked a question she is shy in retort
Or may be i am hurried in my seeking
Only the drift of clouds can span this gap

She and i sip lemon drops that slide down
Into a bowl of topaz crystals so precious
I'm almost afraid to reach for them
To be so flawless, so like the sun, variant

From the throne of heaven
Pours forth satiety, warmth and goodness
Honesty, clarity, applause and smiles, joy
Yet beauty lies within the seeker's reach

MAGICAL
Tree aromas perfumed our afternoon stroll
Distilling silence, only love immersed the soul
You and me for ever and ever that was our desire
Bright flames of the heart, Oh lets us feed this fire!

Distilling silence, only love immersed the soul
Shadows will soon paint the evening stole
There are some flowers will resist night's sleep
Ever vigilant ones like ixoras stay open to peep

You and me for ever and ever that was our desire
Passion never to wane, enchant us frogs, to this mire!
Let our kiss then, be magical, transformed together
We as one, be safe haven for every kind of weather

Bright flames of the heart, Oh lets us feed this fire!
For tomorrow comes in stealth as clouds for hire
This cannot be a helpless state where fantasy lies
For regaled in our I do's therein our future resides
