The Magic of My First Snow

Where was i? I was at my sister's home. I had flown across oceans so at that time,  I was on vacation in New York. So back then, I was where i am.

When the snow began, she called me to the door. The door was slightly ajar. And there it was. My very first time, my very first snowflakes

For me this was oh so amazing. I stood at the doorway spellbound.

  6. Gillena, I had been thinking of you when this prompt came. It doesn't snow in Trinadad. You did fine, whether or not you have or had a sister living in New York. I remember my first tornado, watching it from the storm cellar door and picking up hailstones after it passed. One had a part of a clock inside, a small wheel like piece of metal with gear cogs. That was in Eastern Nebraska, in the spring a school. A father warned us and took us all to the cellar, some of us took turns coming to the door to watch.
