BEAUTIFUL MOONThe moon is beautiful a Japanese writer once intimated, to say I love you. Sitting here, alone in my back yard, watching another rounded moon, i remember the times i said that to you, those precious words about our moon, not knowing of its Japanese metaphor.I feel its presence now, this beautiful moon. Its shapeshifting moodiness and its brilliance are all a part of  me.Alone, i  look up and somehow i do not feel lonely. A heart that loves feels longing, But is never lonely.Reading what I have just written, I now believe.© gillena cox 2020
