Monday WRites 97

ETERNITY SPANS A BOND
Incredibly so, i will, love you forever
Fear not, of earnest span of time
There are days, still in the mind of ever;
And sorrows, i will turn to ash on fire,
My promise bequeath, i will, love you forever;
Who dresses lilies so cleverly in fields?
Surely, such talent, such finesse can never
Diminish or pale, in the scale of eternity,
Your burdens i can carry them, however
Weighty they may be, come to me in times
Of trouble and of joy, i will, love you forever.

  1. Whistles!!!❤️πŸ’˜This is absolutely stupendous writing Gillena 😘 I love the passion and longing that adorns these lines; "Who dresses lilies so cleverly in fields, Surely, such talent, such finesse can never diminish or pale, in the scale of eternity, Your burdens i can carry them, however weighty they may be, come to me in times of trouble and of joy, i will, love you forever." Sigh.. beautifully penned. Thank you so much for participating at Prompt Nights and for your constant love and support.❤️πŸ’˜
