[for today's mosaic I used some of my 2011 photos; taken on an outing with the book club I was reading with then]
SEA TURTLE
The waters contained in ocean we cross,
Mindful of our smallness in this vast expanse,
Equilibrium is the name of today's boss,
Gravity is a sister who loves her brother,
As stability dances in ocean we cross.
A journey of wonder is embroidered in trust,
Our hope is for safety to the island across,
Words are spoken as audible buntings,
Suddenly a wave brings an identity toss.
A sea turtle swimming still not fully grown,
Small wonder contained in ocean we cross.

❧✿❧We are under a spell of inclement weather, excessively heavy rains over the last few days have resulted in flooding and displacement to some people in some parts of the country. Emergency forces are giving every bit of their mettle to help those in need.
