FOR THE HEARTH
As the birds are to nest-building,
So these maidens clog through trees.
They are the gatherers taking,
What the wind has generously felled.
For warmth is needed as is nest-building.
Faggots bound will they take to hearth.
Winter clouds turn pink in the evening,
Good work so the faces of maidens blush.
Astute their hearts swelled in achieving.
And lively stories be told after dinner,
Family encircled to art of nest-building.

A nice write! As I read, a spicer crawled down the wall, perhaps he is nest building?
